basics

At least my $30 tulips from Whole Foods came in handy for night of lessons in pastels.

When I talk about my process to others, I don't think its realized the idea of how many layers go into a painting. What the layers create to me is the history of the piece, it can be years until its done, or just a few moments passed. What I reflect upon is the day to day, putting the puzzle together, making sense of it all.

" Little fish swim on the surface, but the big ones swim down below. If you can expand your container you're fishing in---your consciousness- you can catch bigger fish"  -David Lynch

Tonight, I went fishing for the big ones.

ideas for book

At this point in my life, I am looking for chances.  After many days of experiences abroad had, I look to understand. The internal understanding of what I've done and how I can keep climbing. The mountains are visible, and the  ideas are prominent.  As I have a creative mind, I challenge myself to always push the envelope to do better, create more, and interact with others.

Transit allows me moments to myself, to do research on others, and to create stories about our passings. I find our interactions interesting, and I'm looking forward to doing more work about it.

passenger

Recently, not the way planned, I am in commute.  Could have been anyone, yet right back where I came from. There is a bliss, a knowledge, that I miss of a commute. Photographing it today made me realize I need to write a story book called Traffic

What I love about commutes is you see and experience character. Each in their element, true self, and emotions of the day past and present. I will not only be looking to photograph out the window, but take note of the time spent by us and reflections.
