Forks

Revolution, 2010

There are many surprises in photography, and it's not in the photograph itself...but its how it makes you stop and think.

I was reading through my Guatemala journals tonight. This photograph I recently took reminds me of something that was static in my writings. Its about choices, actions, and the push and pull we have in this world. I find that the idea of having a choice on what direction to take, is a gift in itself.

There is a continuous tug we have, with each other, and with what is given to us. Its amazing how moments can pass us by without taking a stab at it.
